YOUR GUIDE

My Story

My grandma used to call me her little rebel. I don’t think she meant I was naughty. I think she meant I was curious — always asking why, interested in people and rarely satisfied with “because that’s just the way it is.”

At the same time, I grew up in a world that encouraged girls to be polite, well behaved and not make a fuss. I felt things deeply and had a strong intuition, but learnt to keep much of it to myself.

I left home at 17, moved to London at 19 and spent the next twenty years working in the creative industries. Having lived in Brunei for part of my childhood, I was already curious about different cultures and ways of seeing the world. That sense of adventure has never really left me.

As I moved through life, I began to notice how easily I adapted to what other people needed while struggling to express what was true for me. I became very good at keeping things moving, smoothing things over and carrying on.

Looking back, I hadn’t forgotten how to listen to myself. I simply hadn’t learnt to give my own needs, feelings and intuition the same attention I gave to everyone else’s. That understanding has shaped both my life and the way I work today.

Finding Breathwork

I went into my first breathwork experience without expectations. I wasn’t looking for a breakthrough, so what happened surprised me.

After a difficult birth with my eldest son, I had carried a quiet belief that my body had somehow failed me. Intellectually, I knew that wasn’t true, but somewhere deeper the feeling had remained.

During that session, something shifted. I found myself overwhelmed by gratitude for everything my body had carried me through. It felt less like discovering something new and more like remembering something I had forgotten.

I left with one thought:

If something this simple could help me experience myself so differently, what else might be possible?

That question changed the direction of my life.

I trained in breathwork because I wanted to understand it more deeply. Over time, that curiosity also led me to begin training as an integrative counsellor.

Today, my work brings together thoughtful conversation, compassionate enquiry, music and guided breathwork. I create spaces where people can understand themselves more fully, find language for what they’re experiencing and feel more confident expressing what they need.

I don’t believe we’re broken or waiting to become finished versions of ourselves. We’re continually changing, shaped by every season of our lives. My hope is to create the kind of space where that process can unfold with more curiosity, compassion and trust.

About Breathwork

For me, breathwork is a tool — a way in.

Like movement, creativity or meditation, it can help us step away from the constant chatter of the mind and listen more closely to ourselves.

If you’ve seen breathwork online, you could be forgiven for thinking it is all about dramatic emotional release. Those experiences can happen, but they are only one small part of the picture.

The way I guide this work is gentle, music-led and shaped around you. We’ll find a pace that feels supportive rather than overwhelming, because no two people — or two days — are ever the same.

Many people describe it as meditation with something to do. Rather than trying to stop your thoughts, the rhythm of the breath gives your attention somewhere to rest.

A Little About Me

Outside of this work, you’ll usually hear my dirty laugh before you see me.

I love travelling, swimming in the sea, live music, documentaries and anything that makes me feel inspired or more alive. Music has always been one of the ways I understand the world, which is why it is woven through every experience I create.

I care as much about how a space feels as what happens within it. We don’t always make sense of ourselves through conversation alone. Sometimes it’s music. Sometimes it’s movement. Sometimes it’s simply having enough space to notice what’s there.

I’m based in Poole, Dorset, and work with people in person, online and on retreats in the UK and internationally.
