When holding on becomes to heavy
There comes a quiet moment - one we often don’t notice until we’ve exhausted ourselves trying - when holding on becomes heavier than letting go.
We resist.
We wrestle.
We replay conversations, lose sleep, rewrite endings and run circles around what we wish could be different.
But eventually, life offers us something softer. A doorway. An invitation.
Not to give up, but to surrender.
To choose acceptance - not because we approve, or agree, but because we’re tired of the battle and ready to reclaim our energy.
Letting go is not weakness. It’s not a sign you failed.
It’s an act of courage (even when it doesn’t feel like it)
It’s loosening the grip on what you can’t change, so you can open your heart to what’s next.
Sometimes, it’s the relationship.
Sometimes, it’s the version of yourself you thought you had to be - the one who always says yes, always holds it together, always gets it right.
Sometimes, it’s an old dream that just doesn’t feel alive anymore.
And sometimes, it’s simply the idea that it should have gone differently.
If you’ve been feeling the ache of something that no longer fits…
If a part of you keeps whispering, this isn’t working while another part keeps saying, hold on just a bit longer - this is your gentle nudge.
You’re allowed to stop fighting.
You’re allowed to breathe.
You’re allowed to feel free again.
Letting go isn’t an ending.
It’s a clearing.
A quiet act of love for yourself, so something more true, something more aligned with where you are now - can find its way in.
May you meet this moment not with fear, but with tenderness.
May you honour what was and trust what will be.
And may you always remember: the softest choices are often the bravest ones.
If this touched something in you—if you're sitting in that in-between space of holding on and letting go - I’d love to invite you to breathe with me.
In breathwork, we don’t force answers or fix what’s broken.
We create space.
We meet ourselves with honesty, softness, and courage.
We let the breath do what it knows how to do—clear, soothe, reconnect.
You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You just have to be willing to show up and take the first breath.
Join me for a class, a private session, or simply set aside a quiet moment to lie down, close your eyes and let your breath guide you home.
